Narrow Loft Boards

These narrow chipboard loft panels are only 253mm wide, meaning that they are lighter and smaller, hence easier to carry into a loft or through a small hatch. The panels have been designed with tongue and groove on the long edges, allowing the panels to slot into one another for a secure fit and easy installation. Convenient mini-panel size allows them to fit through loft hatches and ensures easy handling in tight spaces.

• This board is classified as “P2” which means it is suitable for walking on and light storage only. Its bending strength is at least 112kg per square centimetre.

The trees for these panels are grown in the EU and the panels are cut to size in two factories in England and in Wales. Note that these panels are sold individually, not in packs of three like some other loft panels. Please ensure that you order the correct number of panels.

Screws are not included and we sell these separately via the link below. We recommend 4x40mm wood screws. Each loft board panel needs a minimum of three screws each, though you may choose to use up to six screws per panel for added strength if you wish.

Please remember that, these days, all loft boards should be raised above the joists in order to protect the full depth of loft insulation, as compressing the insulation with boxes or boards halves its effectiveness. We sell StoreFloor and StoreFloor Compact products that allow you to do this.
