Having had a couple of quotes to have the loft boarded by tradesmen I felt the charges were a bit overinflated!
After viewing the Loftzone video on you tube, decided that I could do the job myself! I received my delivery to the front door yesterday ahead of time and immediately transferred the shelving to the loft to get started. The shelves were fixed in place within 30mins, it took longer to sort my stuff into new as semblance on my fab shelves as my plan was to get my stuff off the floor ready to board out! I just amazed myself as a 69 going on 70 DIY woman.
Today is loft boarding day! The system couldn’t be easier with no short cuts, no bodge it and scarper syndrome and have saved so much in unrequited labour costs.
I’m considering purchasing some smaller under shelving or should I stop hoarding???
A great product, would recommend the system to anyone who can handle a cordless screwdriver.

Purchased the new steel truss shelves for storage in our unboarded loft. The shelves arrived promptly, were easy to install and are very sturdy once in place. I’m extremely pleased with the results and would certainly recommend these to others looking for a simple and relatively low cost storage solution for loft spaces. All in all a great product.

We were looking for a solution to provide extra storage space in our garage loft before getting it boarded and these TrussShelves are absolutely perfect. They were incredibly easy to fit with excellent instructions. Once fully screwed down they are solid and have easily accommodated the boxes I put onto them.

The delivery was quick and although a couple of the shelves had slight bends in when they arrived, once screwed in they straightened out a gave a nice flat shelf. They even have a slight curve to the end where they overlap to prevent anything catching….Nice touch loftzone!

One of the easiest DIY projects I’ve done. Previously installed the store floor and still needed more space. Bought the TrussShelf to run alongside and it’s as easy to install as promised. If you know how to use a screwdriver (or drill in my case) then you’re good to go. Very sturdy once installed, the screws are almost optional as it doesn’t move once set on the trusses. Now have tons of space. Only small change I would make would be to have the screws on top to be flush with the top of the shelf, but this hasn’t actually caused me any issues so far. Great product.

Previously used a competitors product which was awkward to hold in place with one hand while levelling and screwing into place, the TrussShelf was so much easier self leveled and held itself in place job completed in a few minutes.

Instructions are very well written and easy to follow, once the shelving is in place it has created so much more extra storage space in what was wasted space before, finally have somewhere to put the Christmas decorations……….and Lego boxes.
